Recap: Moundridge Wildcats vs. Ell-Saline Cardinals
Make it seven blowout wins for the Moundridge Wildcats this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Ell-Saline 53-26 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Moundridge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Moundridge to victory were Addy Patrick and Cammi Unruh. Patrick scored 14 points along with two steals, while Unruh scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Unruh hasn't dropped below three steals for seven straight games. Macy Kaminkow was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 13 rebounds and two steals.
Moundridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Ell-Saline, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moundridge will challenge the Inman Teutons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ell-Saline, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Berean Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
