Softball Recap: Palm Beach Gardens Wins Going Away Against Seminole Ridge

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Palm Beach Gardens had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Seminole Ridge Hawks. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Shea Towns looked comfortable as she struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February.

At the plate, Brynn Catasus was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Finola Evans, who went 1-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.

Palm Beach Gardens' victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Seminole Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Palm Beach Gardens will face off against Dwyer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Gators surely won't give up without a fight. Seminole Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
