Volleyball Recap: Youngker Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Youngker came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Canyon View Jaguars. The Roughriders have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11, 25-11.

Sydney Moore paced Youngker's offense, picking up five kills. Moore got some help from Addielyn Angel and her eight assists.

Lyndin Swanson was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high. Aurya Ryan also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Youngker's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Canyon View, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-5.

Youngker has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Washington on the 16th. As for Canyon View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Paradise Valley on the 16th.
