Baseball Recap: Solorio Comes Up Short

Solorio lost to Simeon on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sun Warriors took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. The Sun Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keiber Hernandez was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Saucedo, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Solorio's record now sits at 5-5. As for Simeon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Solorio is set to face off against their familiar foe Jones at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Simeon will challenge rival Brooks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
