Pen Argyl dropped down to 5-2 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders 59-7. The Green Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.

Mason Soos threw for 81 yards and one touchdown. Terrell Estes was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Caiden Faust rushed for 43 yards.

As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 45.3 points this season.

Notre Dame-Green Pond was led to victory by Matt Bodnar and Jonathan Striba. Bodnar threw for 241 yards and four TDs while completing 80% of his passes, while Striba gained 99 total yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Cody Driscoll, who picked up 55 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
