Softball Recap: William Penn Comes Up Short

William Penn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 21-1 to the Red Lion Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by exactly 20 runs.

William Penn saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Siaralys Calderon Tejada, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

William Penn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Red Lion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Coming up, William Penn will welcome New Oxford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Red Lion, they will venture away from home to take on Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
