Volleyball Recap: Rouse Beats Hays for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Rouse had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hays Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Rouse was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-12.

Avery Ralston paced Rouse's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ralston got some help from Isla Ornelas and her 13 assists. Addison Lundquist controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Rouse's win bumped their record up to 26-18. As for Hays, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-22.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rouse will take on rival Cedar Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hays is set to challenge their familiar foe Glenn at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
