Recap: Akron Tigers vs. Pembroke Dragons
The Akron Tigers lost against the Pembroke Dragons back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Akron suffered a tough 68-46 defeat at the hands of Pembroke. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Akron in their matchups with Pembroke: they've now lost six in a row.
Pembroke got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Reagan Schneider out in front who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Elle Peterson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Akron's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pembroke, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Akron will head out on the road to face off against Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on December 21st. Pembroke won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Byron-Bergen at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
