 The scorekeeper got an easy start  on Monday as neither La Salle Institute nor Columbia made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Cadets came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of  5-1.
 La Salle Institute is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Albany Academy for Boys, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
