Softball Recap: Whitehall Takes a Loss

Whitehall couldn't beat Nazareth Area on Saturday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Zephyrs fell just short of the Blue Eagles by a score of 6-5. The Zephyrs have struggled against the Blue Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Paige Tacker was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Whitehall's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Nazareth Area, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Whitehall nor Nazareth Area have any future games scheduled.
