Basketball Recap: Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Comes Up Short

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Tenoroc Titans, falling 74-37. The Explorers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in January.

Several Explorers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacob Andre, who posted eight points and three steals. Bryan Lopez-Vergel was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Tenoroc, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-43 win against Orlando Science on the 19th. As for Tenoroc, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-47 victory against Frostproof on the 17th.
