Volleyball Game Preview: Bryan Golden Bears vs. Stryker Panthers + How To Watch

The Bryan Golden Bears will venture away from home to challenge the Stryker Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Bryan and Delta, and Delta kept the tradition alive. The Golden Bears fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Bryan wouldn't go down easily and took Delta into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 18-25, 19-25, 25-17, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Stryker posted their closest win since August 19th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out North Central 3-2. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Stryker took North Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Stryker's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Bryan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Bryan skirted past Stryker 3-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Bears since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
