Football Game Preview: Fayette Falcons vs. Russellville Indians

The Fayette Falcons will challenge the Russellville Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fayette hasn't scored more than 12 points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Fayette lost 28-8 to Harrisburg on Friday.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Russellville's offense. They had to suffer through a 52-0 loss at the hands of Tipton. That makes it the first time this season the Indians have let down their home crowd.

Fayette's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Russellville, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Fayette didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Russellville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 34-28 victory. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
