Basketball Game Preview: Evant Elks vs. Lohn Eagles

The Evant Elks will take on the Lohn Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Lohn took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Evant, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row dating back to last season, Evant turned things around against Waco Christian on Tuesday. They took down the Warriors 54-35. The Elks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Lohn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Johnson City and fell 86-18.

Evant's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Lohn, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
