Meanwhile, while Royal put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Bellflower. The Highlanders had just enough and edged out the Buccaneers 2-0. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Caden Sramek looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

The victory made it two in a row for Oak Park and bumps their season record up to 6-10-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Royal, their record now sits at 17-4.

Oak Park might still be hurting after the 14-2 loss they got from Royal in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
