Clay had won six straight games and Mia Lunsford did her part to make it seven on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past the Glenwood Tigers 3-0 for which the team can thank Lunsford, who had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

One reason for the win was Clay's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-13, 25-12.

Clay's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Glenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Clay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Notre Dame on the 2nd. As for Glenwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against East on the 2nd.
