Softball Recap: Dakota Valley Falls Short Against Ranked Madison

Dakota Valley faced Madison in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Panthers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dakota Valley's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. As for Madison, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Dakota Valley is taking a road trip to take on Watertown on Friday. As for Madison, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-2 victory against Baltic on the 29th.
