Soccer Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Batavia Bulldogs. Geneva were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Batavia apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-3. As for Batavia, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geneva will challenge Oswego East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Batavia, they will take on Glenbrook South at 2:45 p.m. on Friday. Glenbrook South's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
