Basketball Recap: Genoa-Kingston Takes a Loss

Genoa-Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 69-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lutheran Crusaders. If the Cogs were looking for revenge after losing 71-51 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Genoa-Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lutheran, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Genoa-Kingston will head out to challenge Harvest Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lutheran, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against River Ridge at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
