Softball Recap: Berry Takes a Loss

If Berry was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Hubbertville on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell 5-1 to the South Lamar Stallions on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-5 loss last Thursday.

Berry now has a losing record of 8-9. As for South Lamar, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Berry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-6 loss against Oakman on the 4th. As for South Lamar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Fayette County on the 5th.
