Football Recap: Turtle Lake Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Turtle Lake and Pepin/Alma squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Turtle Lake had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Eagles 48-21. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2019.

Turtle Lake's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Pepin/Alma, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Turtle Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pepin/Alma, they will take on Boyceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine contests.
