Baseball Recap: Abington Comes Up Short

Abington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 6-1 to the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Galloping Ghosts of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Abington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Hatboro-Horsham, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-12.

Coming up, Abington will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Non Varsity Opponent at 3:45 p.m. Hatboro-Horsham will be paying especially close attention to the Galloping Ghosts' matchup: after the Galloping Ghosts face off against Non Varsity Opponent, they'll take on Hatboro-Horsham again at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
