Volleyball Game Preview: Clayton Yellowjackets vs. San Jon Coyotes

The Clayton Yellowjackets will head out on the road to take on the San Jon Coyotes at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Clayton came up short against Roy/Mosquero and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Blue/Lady Blue: they've now lost seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 24-26, 25-17.

Meanwhile, San Jon didn't have quite enough to beat Floyd on Thursday and fell 3-2.

San Jon actually scored more points across those five sets (106-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 18-25, 15-12.

Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for San Jon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
