Mt. Pleasant lost against Grand Blanc back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oilers came up short against the Bobcats, falling 13-2. The Oilers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mt. Pleasant saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tate Wager, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. Brady Edwards also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Grand Blanc, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Coincidentally, Mt. Pleasant and Grand Blanc will both be playing East Grand Rapids the next time they take the field. The Bobcats will host the Pioneers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Oilers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
