Football Recap: Madison Trojans vs. Gateway Tech Jaguars
A victory for Madison just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 60-14 loss at the hands of the Gateway Tech Jaguars. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 447th in Illinois, while the Jaguars are ranked 132nd in Missouri).
Despite the loss, Madison still got an impressive performance from Terion Wilbourn, who picked up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. Wilbourn's longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards.
Madison is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. As for Gateway Tech, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
