Basketball Recap: Ramsey Comes Up Short

Ramsey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles and fell 86-52. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 74-53 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ramsey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.

Coming up, Ramsey will venture away from home to face off against Mulberry Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mulberry Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, they will square off against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Brownstown/St. Elmo is facing Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at the right time seeing as Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
