Baseball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Roland-Story Norsemen, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Norsemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 on Thursday.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Roland-Story, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Perry will look to defend their home field on Monday against Des Moines Christian at 7:30 p.m. As for Roland-Story, they will challenge Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Tuesday.
