For the second straight game, Hendrickson will face off against Bastrop. The Hawks will welcome the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hendrickson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Hendrickson heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They lost 14-2 to Bastrop. The Hawks have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

For Bastrop's part, Ella Griesenbeck was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Griesenbeck has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Bastrop got a massive performance out of Lanie Coy, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Bryleigh Fawcett, who went 1-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one double.

Bastrop always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hendrickson only posted an OBP of .200.

Bastrop pushed their record up to 18-7-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Hendrickson, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11-1.
