Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berea-Midpark). They blew past the Elyria Pioneers 9-6 on Wednesday. Berea-Midpark haven't had any issues with Elyria recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Berea-Midpark hit Elyria with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jack Krzys (6), Joven Weaver, Finnegan Leary, and Will Collins.

Berea-Midpark's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4-1 and their overall record up to 2-8-3. As for Elyria, they dropped their record down to 2-11-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Berea-Midpark and Elyria could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Titans will take on Hoover at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (370 vs. 83). Meanwhile, Elyria (ranked 408th) will meet Firelands (ranked 113th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
