Baseball Recap: Hayden Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Hayden proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 14) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Williams Vikings 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Lobos, who have now won three contests in a row.

Hayden pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Williams, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Hayden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 loss against Bisbee on the 20th. As for Williams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-6 win against Mohave Accelerated on the 18th.
