After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stony Point, Hutto was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Manor Mustangs. The Hippos haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hutto took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-8, 25-10.

Ellie Witcher paced Hutto's offense, picking up eight kills. Witcher were helped by Kyah Cleveland and Kharmin Fisher, who contributed 14 assists each. Isabella Michael controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hutto's win bumped their record up to 12-20. As for Manor, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hutto is set to square off against their familiar foe Vandegrift at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Manor will challenge rival Vista Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
