Baseball Recap: Torres Comes Up Short

Torres lost against Hoover last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Toros took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Toros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Galindo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Torres' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hoover, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Torres is set to take on their familiar foe Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hoover will square off against rival Madera South at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
