Soccer Game Preview: Durham vs. Redding Christian

The Durham Trojans will square off against the Redding Christian Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Durham lost 5-2 to Los Molinos on Friday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Redding Christian was not quite Maxwell's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Durham's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Redding Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Durham suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Redding Christian in their previous meeting back in January. Can Durham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
