Volleyball Recap: Diego Rivera Takes a Loss

Diego Rivera and Sylmar squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Diego Rivera had to settle for second. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. The Huskies' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

While Diego Rivera was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-20.

Diego Rivera's loss dropped their record down to 17-14-2. As for Sylmar, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-13-2 record this season.

Diego Rivera does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sylmar, they will face off against Banning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
