Basketball Recap: Mt. Shasta Wins Going Away Against Etna

Mt. Shasta won the last time they faced Etna and things went their way on Friday too. The Mt. Shasta Bears put the hurt on the Etna Lions with a sharp 54-28 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-9.

Mt. Shasta is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Etna, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Mt. Shasta has already played their next game (against Trinity), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Etna will head out to challenge Fall River at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Etna is facing Fall River at the right time seeing as Fall River is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
