Football Recap: Nogales Falls to Buena in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Nogales kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard 17-0 fall against the Buena Colts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Apaches of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The critical scores for Buena came from Deztany Toyota-Villalobos and Zion McLin.

Buena has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Nogales will venture away from home to take on Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buena, they will take on Salpointe Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
