            Softball Recap: La Farge Wildcats vs. Brookwood Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            La Farge had lost three straight on the road, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-10 to make it four. They came up short against  the Brookwood Falcons, falling  10-0. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing  13-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
  Chelsea Huebsch made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  double.
As for Brookwood, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record  this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six  runs or more this season.
On Brookwood's side,  Mallory Wallace made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Wallace was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  Reagan Muehlenkamp was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Emily Cunitz, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Looking ahead, La Farge will square off against Ithaca at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Brookwood, they will face off against New Lisbon at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
