Virgin Valley came tearing into Saturday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions.

Virgin Valley's offense was headlined by Destry Tobler and Bryant Denninghoff, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Dallin Moeai and his 14 assists. McKay Mulitalo controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Virgin Valley's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Sierra Vista, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-11.
