Lake Fenton came tearing into Saturday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Powers Catholic Chargers by a score of 6-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Blue Devils' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Avery Heil (2027) was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Lake Fenton's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Powers Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
