Baseball Recap: Episcopal Comes Up Short

Episcopal managed to slip by Flint Hill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Maroon came up short against the Huskies on Saturday, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Maroon's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Flint Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Episcopal will square off against Georgetown Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Little Hoyas will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Maroon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Flint Hill, they will challenge St. Andrew's Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
