Plumas Charter had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tulelake Honkers with a sharp 8-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Liam Schrammel tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Dalton Bentz, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Bodie Kingdon was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Plumas Charter now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Tulelake, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Plumas Charter will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Honkers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
