Volleyball Recap: Coronado Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Yuma Criminals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Criminals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 1st.

Louise Prevots was a one-woman wrecking crew For Yuma. as she had 24 digs, 12 aces, and six kills. Those 12 aces gave Prevots a new career-high. Jennavecia Guzman was another key player, getting 20 digs and three aces.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Yuma, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Coronado didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Tempe on the 22nd. As for Yuma, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Dysart on the 22nd.
