Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Comes Up Short

Wakefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bennington Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bombers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-1.

Wakefield's loss dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Bennington, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Wakefield has already played their next contest (against Blue Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bennington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Flint Hills Christian on the 27th.
