Volleyball Game Preview: Giltner Hornets vs. Lawrence-Nelson Raiders

Giltner hasn't had much luck against Lawrence-Nelson recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hornets will welcome the Raiders. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Giltner came up short against Kenesaw and fell 2-0.

Giltner was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Lawrence-Nelson also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley by a score of 2-0. The Raiders have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11.

Lawrence-Nelson's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Giltner, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.
