Frankston has gone a perfect 5-0 against LaPoynor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Frankston Indians will host the LaPoynor Flyers at 6:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Frankston has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while LaPoynor will arrive with nine straight wins.

Frankston came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Cross Roads by a score of 5-3 on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask LaPoynor). They walked away with a 9-5 victory over Cayuga on Friday. That's two games straight that the Flyers have won by exactly four runs.

Hadley Rhodes was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reagan Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Rhodes wasn't the only one working in the hit department: LaPoynor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Frankston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for LaPoynor, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Everything went Frankston's way against LaPoynor when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Frankston made off with a 24-0 victory. Will Frankston repeat their success, or does LaPoynor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
