Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Valley). They blew past the Hopewell Vikings 75-40 on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-16.

Hopewell's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Gigliotti, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Kovell, who put up six points and five steals.

Central Valley pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for Hopewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Central Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-45 victory against Quaker Valley on the 7th. As for Hopewell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-52 win against Ambridge on the 7th.
