Red Mountain Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Da'koreyauna Roberts

Da'Koreyauna Roberts's big game helped extend Red Mountain's winning streak to seven on Wednesday. Nobody could stop Roberts as he rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 155 yards and a touchdown.

Red Mountain pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Roberts and Red Mountain will head out to square off against Basha at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Mountain View Gets a Boost from Lamoreaux in 31-0 Win

Lucee Lamoreaux's big game helped extend Mountain View's winning streak to eight on Wednesday. Lamoreaux was unstoppable, rushing for 90 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also picking up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards she has posted since back in October.

Lamoreaux must have Queen Creek's number; she was a force to be reckoned with the last time she faced them too. Back in October (the last time Lamoreaux saw the Bulldogs), she rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also picked up 68 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Emma Fischbeck was instrumental in extending Mountain View's winning streak to eight on Wednesday. Fischbeck did her part (and then some), picking up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.

For the season, Fischbeck has caught 13 touchdowns while averaging 73.9 receiving yards per game.

Sierra Mellish and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

Sierra Mellish was instrumental in extending Red Mountain's winning streak to seven on Wednesday. Gilbert had no answer to Mellish as she picked up 38 receiving yards.

This season, Mellish has averaged 72.1 passing yards per game. She's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, she was only averaging 28.2 passing yards per game.
