Baseball Recap: Fulton's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Fulton lost to Erie-Prophetstown back in April of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Steamers had just enough and edged out the Panthers 6-4. The game was the first time the Steamers have beaten the Panthers on their field since April 14, 2016.

Fulton's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-13. As for Erie-Prophetstown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Fulton will take on Ashton-Franklin Center at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Erie-Prophetstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
