Soccer Recap: Vidor's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Vidor kept a clean sheet against Hamshire-Fannett on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak.

They hit Hamshire-Fannett with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Davis, Troy McElveen, and Diego Sanchez-Rebollo.

Vidor's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vidor has already played their next match (against Silsbee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hamshire-Fannett will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hargrave at 5:00 p.m. on February 7th.
