Tahoma won the last time they faced Kentwood and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Conquerors.

Tahoma walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 17-25, 26-24.

Charlie Leipheimer paced Tahoma's offense, picking up 20 kills. Leipheimer got some help from Haley Heggenes and her 22 assists. Chloe Phan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Tahoma's victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Kentwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tahoma is set to square off against their familiar foe Mt. Rainier at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kentwood will take on rival Auburn Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
